Allegan Public Schools

The district features an early childhood center, three elementary schools, a middle school and high school, plus online school and an adult education program.  Students enjoy a comprehensive curriculum and have access to state-of-the-art technology.  Extracurriculars include athletics and the arts, and access to a state-of-the-art performing arts center, aquatic center, and athletic fieldhouse.

Fennville Public Schools

The district promises to cultivate educational excellence with a global perspective in a community environment.  It is made up of an elementary middle and high school, with an alternative high school as an additional option.

Glenn Public School

Located in the small town of Glenn, Glenn School is considered Michigan's Oldest Continuous Rural School District, open since 1854. Originally built as a single-room schoolhouse, the school stays true to its beginnings, with small class sizes and multi-age classrooms.  The K-5 school currently has fewer than 40 students and three full-time teachers.

Hopkins Public Schools

Hopkins Public Schools is a rural school district serving the Hopkins-Dorr community since 1844.  With a student population of approximately 1,550, the district offers two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, as well as a 0-5 year-old Welcoming Schools program.  Academic opportunities include a full range of services including special education, gifted/ talented, advance placement classes, and dual enrollment. The district provides many co-curricular offerings including interscholastic athletics, club programs, and fine arts.

Martin Public Schools

Comprised of two schools, an elementary and middle/high school, the Martin Public School District has an enrollment of just over 600 students.  It boasts a 97% graduation rate and ranks in the top 50% for reading proficiency.

Otsego Public Schools

The district has more than 2,300 students in three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and an alternative high school. Otsego is also home to a unique nature-based preschool building, the Learn ‘n Grow Early Childhood Education Center, and began its own virtual school, Otsego Virtual Academy, in the fall of 2021.

Plainwell Community Schools

The Plainwell School District spans 75 square miles that includes portions of Allegan, Kalamazoo and Barry Counties.  It features three elementary schools, a middle and high school, plus Renaissance High School, an alternative high school and adult education program.  There are also two early education options. The district has approximately 2,700 students enrolled.

Wayland Union Schools

This district, located in northeast Allegan County, enjoys a rural setting that is situated close to the metropolitan communities of Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.  It is comprised of four elementary schools, a middle and high school, with an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students.

Innocademy - Allegan Campus

Innocademy Allegan Campus (IAC) is a tuition free, K-8 school headquartered in West Michigan. The school offers an integrated curriculum with a nature-based focus.

Outlook Academy

From their website: The Outlook Academy offers students who are at risk of school failure a fair, very firm, and disciplined program.
